High View Lodge
High View Lodge
A relaxed haven with a contemporary design
Whether you’re gazing out over fields, lakes, forests or beaches, the High View really raises the bar when it comes to split-level living. Unlike some holiday homes which pay lip service to the concept with a small raised platform to the living area, The High View takes this to another level altogether – the living and dining rooms are truly elevated, making the very most of the views whatever they may be. With its distinct split roof design emphasised with a cool shade of Canexel and contrasting dramatic windows and doors, it’s the height of design!
A relaxed haven with a contemporary design, the High View has a distinct nautical feel that really sets it apart from the crowd. But what really makes this home unique is the raised lounge and dining area – allowing you to make the very most of the views from your new holiday home.
On sunny afternoons sit and gaze out of the front of the open-plan living area which is completely glazed, and then on cosy winter evenings switch on the fire, sit back with a glass of wine and enjoy a movie on the flat-screen TV.
Entering from the side door there is a lockable cupboard immediately to your left hand side and a cosy study area. To the right there is an open utility complete with integrated appliances. The floor is a natural oak finish laminate which carries throughout the hall and into the kitchen, which creates a real feeling of space.
Immediately to the side of the study area there are a few steps, up to the higher level. With modern practical fixtures and integrated appliances, the kitchen is a cook’s dream, but aesthetically it still retains a very traditional feel – and did we mention the wine cooler for those hot summer days!
The High View has a king-size bedroom with wardrobe space to match, an en-suite shower room, and both the en-suite and the main bathroom have stylish oak washstands and good-size vessel basins.
The second bedroom boasts fitted wardrobes and benefits from a zip and link bed, so it is very versatile for family and friends – and with a holiday home like The High View, they’ll want to visit time and again!
